“My skin is super clear, I have so much extra energy and my fitness levels have increased a lot,” she says.
Mum loses 20kg in just FIVE months
Brooke reveals she was at her heaviest after the birth of her second child. The 28-year-old says she realised she needed to make a change.
“I had fallen into unhealthy habits and prioritising being a mother and wife over my own health and well being,” she says.
“I would quite often go grab the quickest food option and the majority of the time wasn’t a great choice.. was lacking a lot of confidence in myself, I was lacking in energy and eventually I decided enough was enough.”
That’s when the mum-of-two decided she needed to put herself first for a change.
“I needed to start putting myself first, I had sat back on the sidelines and watched success stories on the healthy mummy social media pages for quite some time and decided it was time to give it a go,” she says.
“I knew in my heart it was time. I needed to make a change, I have two young children that I need the energy to run around after and I desperately wanted to feel confident in my own skin.
“I am still on my weight loss journey but I am so happy with my new lifestyle.”
How walking helped Brooke get on the right track
You don’t need to sign up to an expensive gym to workout! Brooke says walking is what helped start her get into fitness.
“Walking has been a huge part of my weight loss and it kick-started my weight loss journey for the first probably two months I mostly walked everyday then I added the Challenge app fit workouts,” she says.
“I try to do one every day but sometimes I only manage the walk. I used to be someone who hated exercise but now it’s extremely beneficial for my mental health which I never imagined!
Finding confidence within
Brooke says she used to hate clothes shopping and now it excited her.
“I have a newfound confidence within myself,” she says. “I look in the mirror and for the first time in a long time I like what I see, I have the energy to chase after my children, play at parks, swing on the swings. I am a happy and healthier version of myself.”

“Ensure you have a plan in place to keep you on track,” says Brooke. “Meal prep when possible. I ensure I have enough snacks prepared for the week to keep me on track and I prefer to cook each night.”
